What are the pros and cons of Feng Shui?

Good morning!

In an earlier post I had said that I would talk about the pros and cons of Feng Shui.

Trying to think about all the pros and cons was tricky.

You would think that as a Feng Shui Consultant I would only be talking about or focusing on the pros of Feng Shui, and try and sweep the cons under the carpet.

But… before a Feng Shui Consultant I am a human being who cares.

I care about your wellbeing.

I share only those remedies that I have personally tried in my home.

And, I must admit that there are so many things that I haven’t tried yet.

Feng Shui is such a vast subject, and there are so many different schools of thought too, which makes it even harder for people to figure out what actually works.

But, rest assured, if I am talking about it, then I have used it and seen them working for me and my family, and that is why I am recommending it to you.

So, let’s see what I can come up with, today ;).

I am going to talk about the cons first as I feel my posts already focus on the benefits of using Feng Shui, which puts them in the ‘pro’ category automatically :).

Cons of Feng Shui:

  1. Needs regular application: The first thing that comes to mind is that Feng Shui is something you have to keep doing on a regular basis.
  2. Can be difficult to apply: Some times you might find that some Feng Shui remedies can be a bit hard to apply either because of financial constraints, space constraints or personal choices.
  3. Needs you to be flexible: You might find it hard to change your ways at times, and that would make it hard for you to apply the suggestions put forward by a Feng Shui Consultant.
  4. Might need reconfiguration of rooms: You might have to move from one room to another, in order to benefit from the positive energy of your home.
  5. Can be a little expensive: Hiring a Feng Shui Consultant can be an expensive business 😉
  6. Can cause relationship issues: This would happen in case one of you wants to apply Feng Shui cures in your home and the other doesn’t.

Pros of Feng Shui:

  1. It is easy to apply: The Basic Feng Shui tips are so simple and easy to apply that a total beginner can start using Feng Shui by following the instructions.
  2. It starts working quickly: Feng Shui starts working as soon as it is applied and you start seeing results with a few weeks.
  3. It brings results quickly: As I said earlier, you start seeing positive results very quickly.
  4. It creates peace of mind: When you start seeing the improvement in your life, you star feeling more happy and contented.
  5. Feng Shui helps keep your personal space neat and tidy 😉 : When you start understanding the principles of Feng Shui, you starts realising the how importance of maintaining a clean space and start keeping your home neat and clean, bringing happiness and success to all the residents.
  6. Some Feng Shui layers are permanent : Which means that once you apply them, you do not have to do anything else.
  7. Feng Shui brings financial luck to the residents of the home/business: Prosperity is one of the easiest aspect of life that can be enhanced by using Feng Shui. Financial freedom brings a sense of happiness and calm to one’s life.
  8. Feng Shui teaches you to be a better person: When you start seeing the results that Feng Shui brings with it, you start being more patient and flexible, and become a better person 😉
  9. Feng Shui brings an improvement in relationships: Feng Shui helps improve relationships among husband and wife and among friends and partners too.
  10. Career luck improves: Feng Shui helps improve your chances of success at work and in every aspect of your life, hence, letting you enjoy your work and lead a more balanced life.
  11. Problem solving ability: If you have a problem, Feng Shui has a solution. We can use Feng Shui to improve any problem that you might be facing. How cool is that!
  12. Feng Shui brings amazing results in everything you do: This is the icing on the cake, Feng Shui brings a huge improvement in every aspect of your life. Can you think of any other system or philosophy which has the ability to do the same and in such a short time?

These are some of the points that come to mind right now.

So, if you think about it, Feng Shui brings these amazing results but it can be a bit expensive to get a Feng Shui Consultant in, hmmm….

Well, that is true, but you have to look at Feng Shui as an ‘Investment.’

Feng Shui is an investment that keeps on giving and brings new opportunities, more money, success, more happiness, loving relationships, better career, etc.

That surely is a ‘Pro’ for Feng Shui 😉
