Feng Shui can be used to improve a lot of things, including the luck of women.
One of the most important aspect that Feng Shui believes in is, to take extra care of the women of the family.
Feng Shui believes that if the mother of the family is happy then the family will stay together and be happy as a unit. The luck of the family revolves around the mother in majority of cases, all around the world.
Now let’s see how we can use Feng Shui to improve the quality of life for women.
The corner related to the mother is Southwest. Southwest corner also governs the quality of relationships within a family, especially between the husband and wife, siblings, and parents & children. And, in order to keep harmony and loving relationships between a family, we need to take care of the Southwest corner of the house. This is the corner we activate when looking to create marriage luck as well.
For those of you who are not married and live independently, then you can activate this corner to create the luck of marriage. If you are not looking to get married, even then you can activate this corner and improve your luck.
If you look at the Southwest corner of your house and the state it is in right now, it will give you a pretty good idea about the quality of your relationships.
You can also look at individual rooms, especially rooms where you spend most of your time, to see how it is affecting your relationships.
Some of the problems that can affect the Southwest corner of your home or room include: missing corners, clutter, placement of a bathroom, toilet, laundry or store room.
- Missing corners are created when the house does not have a regular shape. If the Southwest corner of your house is missing then relationships will suffer. Try and fix the missing corner by shining a bright light in that corner or you can place a mirror inside the house, on the wall near the missing corner. This way you will symbolically extend the corner. The best solution is to fix the missing corner by building a room there.
- This house plan is missing the Southwest corner as well as the West corner, which I have highlighted with orange. The family living in this house will have strained relationships and they might find it hard to have children, as West is the direction of children. Check your house to see if you have any missing corners and make sure you remedy them.
- If you have a bathroom or a toilet in the Southwest, then it will affect your relationships as these rooms are considered to have negative energy attached to them. Toilets are considered more harmful than bathrooms. Toilets in the Southwest can create illness and other problems for the mother and the marriage will suffer as well. If you do have a bathroom in the Southwest of your house, then you need to place some remedies or cures here to reduce the negative affect they are creating in your life.
- The best remedy for this situation is to move the bathroom/toilet to another corner. Bathrooms create negative effect in every direction. It is best to make the bathrooms small and avoid having them in the Southwest or Northwest (father’s) corner.
- Another way of countering the negative effect of the bathroom/toilet in the Southwest is to place hollow bamboo stems in the bathroom. Make sure you activate them by tying a piece of red ribbon on them. The same remedy can be applied to rooms like laundry and store rooms.
- You can also place a healthy plan inside the bathroom to counter it’s negative effect.
- Clear away any clutter that has accumulated in the Southwest corner of the house or the room.
Now that you have fixed the problem rooms, let’s look at enhancing the luck of the women, by energising the Southwest corner of your home.
- You can have your bedroom in the Southwest corner of the house.
- Southwest corner’s element is ‘Earth element’. You can activate this cornet by placing something made of earth element like, a vase, crystals, or chandeliers.
- As fire produces earth in the Productive cycle of Feng Shui, we can use fire element in this corner as well. You can use a splash of red colour here. Some people like to have a feature wall and paint it red. It is very important to remember that red is a very Yang/powerful colour, so it is better to use it sparingly so that it doesn’t become too overpowering.
- You can have a crystal chandelier in this corner and leave it on for a few hours every night.
- Or place a lamp in the Southwest and leave it on for few hours every night.
If you are feeling that your life needs improving or your relationships are not going well, then have a look around your home. What do you have in your Southwest corner?
