Hey there!

Happy Father’s Day to all ( It was Father’s Day in Australia on the 6th of September).

Hope it was a nice and relaxing day for all of you, and especially for all the ‘Dads.’

We had a great family day and tried to make it extra special for my husband.

And as we get back into the swing of things for this week, I started thinking about what to write today.

You know, every time I start writing a blog post for my website, I have usually rejected a few different ideas.

It is not until I actually sit down to write that I finalise the Feng Shui topic that I would like to talk about 🙂

So, after much deliberation I have decided to talk about driveways 🙂

Driveways can often be overlooked when planning a house.

But, it plays an important role in creating the luck of the people living in a house or building.

Have you ever thought that your luck could be effected because of your driveway?

Well, I hadn’t either till I started reading about Feng Shui, and even more now because I help people build their dream homes and dream lives by following the principles of Feng Shui.

Let’s have a look at some do’s and don’ts of designing a driveway:

  • The first and foremost thing to keep in mind is that the driveway should not look threatening.
  • A curved driveway is better than a straight driveway.
  • Semi-circular driveways are more auspicious as they bring good luck energy/chi to the house.
  • If you have a straight driveway, make sure that it is not right in front of your main door.
  • The width of the driveway should be equal to or broader than the width of the main door (It should not be narrower than the door).
  • If your driveway is pointing straight at your main door then you can add some plants alongside the driveway to create a meandering effect.
  • Try and keep the width of the whole driveway same through out.
  • Driveways which narrow in or out tend to create a limiting effect for people living there, especially in their financial and business luck.
  • Avoid having driveways which slope down too much. This tends to create a quick flow of energy and can lead to draining your wealth away.

Keeping these Feng Shui tips in mind while building or renovating your house, office or business premises can really help improve your luck.

The Feng Shui of a building and it’s surroundings can have a positive or negative impact on you.

The good news is that we can fix most problems by using the principles of Feng Shui.

No matter how bad the Feng Shui of your home, office or business is, we can make it better and hence make your life better too.

You just have to keep an open mind and watch your life transform 🙂

Have a wonderful day.
