Hi there.
How has your week been?
I hope it was good 🙂
As life starts to get back to normal, there is a positive feeling in the air.
And I hope that you are feeling more positive too.
Schools have started a phased return in Canberra.
I must admit that I have missed the daily routine of taking the kids to school and back.
During the morning school run I love looking at the houses and particularly in the Autumn months, at all the stunning autumnal colours displayed by the trees around Canberra.

This morning I went around taking pictures of some of the trees and this lot of trees has to be my absolute favourite ?.
When I look at these beautiful trees I can’t help but think how much beauty there is around us, and how lucky we are to be alive and safe and well.
We have so much to be grateful for ?.
While enjoying the beauty of nature, another thought that comes to mind is the impact of these vibrant colours on the house, from a Feng Shui perspective.

When you plant trees, you can use the principles of Feng Shui to select them.
When selecting trees or plants, do keep in mind the colour of the flowers, and the colour that the tree turns to in autumn.
As these trees have turned a vibrant red over autumn, the ideal place to plant them would be South, Southwest and Northeast direction.
The element of South is Fire and the colour associated with it is red.
You can also use Wood element in the South because according the element cycle, Wood produces Fire and it is important to have the producing
The colour associated with Wood element is Green.
The element of Southwest and Northeast is Earth and the colour associated with it is Yellow and Brown.
Fire produces Earth in the Elemental cycle, hence it is good to have shades of red in these areas, which will keep producing Earth Element.

So, that makes these trees a perfect choice for the South, Southwest and Northeast part of the house.
If you remember, I have talked about different layers in Feng Shui.
One of the most important layer that we recommend applying each year is the Flying Star Feng Shui layer.
When we look at the Flying Star Feng Shui, we look at different stars and their elements as well as their characteristics.
There are 9 stars in total and each star has its own feature and characteristic.
Out of these 9 stars, there are two Earth stars which are considered to bring problems and sickness along with them.
These two stars are the number 2 Sickness star and number 5 Five Yellows star.
And if we look at the Yearly Flying Star Chart for 2020, we will find that this year (the Year of the Metal Rat), South direction has Sickness Star number 2.
The Sickness Star is an Earth star and gets strengthened by Fire energy.
Going back to the stunning red trees…

If these trees happen to be in the South of the house then the residents of this house will have to be more cautious about their health this year.
The red colour of the trees is adding a lot of fire energy in the sector, hence strengthening the Sickness Star.

So what can the residents of this house do?
They should make sure to display or place more Metal element in the South part of their house this year.
Metal energy will control the negative energy of the Sickness Star.
Metal wind chimes or a metal Wu Lou is a great remedy for controlling this Star.
If you don’t have the traditional Feng Shui cures, you can use any thing that is made of Metal and place it in the South for this year.
Now, what if you have these trees in the East part of your house?
Normally it would be ok to have lots of trees in the East part of the house or garden, but when these trees turn during Autumn that is the time you would have to take more care of your health, as East is the universal health direction.
In addition to that, this year we have the Five Yellows in the East which brings financial loss, sickness and other problems.
So, when you have these stunning trees turning red in the East, they inadvertently make the Five Yellow star stronger, hence creating more problems for the residents of that house.
And how can you stop these stars from affecting your luck?
By applying the right cures…
The best cure to control both the negative Earth stars, Number 2 and 5 is to place Metal element in the direction they are in.
And, if you happen to have trees that change colour over Autumn, make sure you add more Metal in the areas where they are in, especially if they are in the East or South part of your property/land.
Remember, these stars move around each year, each month and each day.
If you place the right remedies or cures for the year, you will find that your life will be much better and you will enjoy better health, more happiness and wealth in your life.
So, make sure you place the elements for this year too and make an effort to do so every year.
This will help you stay safe from the negative effects of these negative stars and your life will keep improving over the years.
And, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature around you with confidence 🙂
