Namaste and Greetings to all.

My name is Dr Harnita Chowdhary and I live in Pune, India.

By profession I am an Economist, Professor and Corporate trainer, but increasingly a seeker and spiritual counseller by choice.

I am sure in the midst of this present reality of the pandemic and the lockdown in our ‘outer world,’ a lot of us our turning in to our ‘inner world’ to open the locks we have put on our hearts and our souls.

Given the times, the relationship with ourselves, our families and friends is based more on the logical mind than on the feeling heart!

What better day than ‘today’ to introspect deep within ourselves!

I am greatly influenced by the innumerable tales of Lord Buddha’s life which abound with endless lessons for humanity at large.

The most vital virtues which he embodied were compassion, courage and wisdom.

These, I feel are precisely the values which we need to embody in ourselves in these trying times.

So let us have the courage and compassion to reach out to the most affected and unprivileged, with the wisdom to help them in different ways.

Also, let us learn to have the courage and compassion to forgive ourselves for our follies, and the wisdom to forgive our loved ones for their mistakes over the years.

Let us make time to meditate and find the calm sanctum right inside us.

So, here is wishing everyone a happy and peaceful life.

Let us repeat to ourselves daily, ‘I forgive myself and I forgive everybody!’
