Hey there!
Continuing from my last post on clutter, let’s have a look at what happens when one sleeps above a garage or a store room, or next to a room which is full of stuff/clutter.
I am going to let you think about it for a minute.
I am sure by now you understand how Feng Shui works.
To create good Feng Shui you need to keep your home and office clean. This allows the energy to move around smoothly and helps create a smooth life for you.
When the energy becomes stale or tired, it effects the residents of that space.
So going back to the topic of this post, you can see that it is not an ideal situation.
If the garage is always kept neat and tidy then it won’t effect the residents of that room too badly, even though the energy of the garage is considered unstable due to the regular movement of the cars.
But, if the garage doubles up as a store room, then the energy there would be blocked and stale, and it will have a negative effect on the luck and health of the residents.
Ideally, you should move to another room if possible.
But what if you have no choice?
If you live in such a room and cannot move out then the first thing you can do is to get rid of all the extra stuff that has been sitting in your garage.
Go through all the boxes and keep only those things which you know you will use or need, and put everything else in the bin or give it away.
Once you have done that, make sure that you store everything neatly.
Try and keep the room clean all the time.
Leave a light on at night time or 27/7, or you can play music regularly to keep the energy moving.
Because these rooms are not used formally they tend to be used to store things and can collect a lot of things over time.
Be mindful of its effect on your health and well-being and clean it regularly.
Have you started cleaning out your rooms yet?
I did start with mine but haven’t finished it yet. I am aiming to finish it by this weekend.
What is your target?
Happy cleaning.
