As you know, the Chinese New Year starts in February, but the energies start shifting around October/November of each year.

OK, let’s have a look at the Monthly Flying Star Update for the month of December 2020.
This month started from 7th of December and goes till 5th of January 2021.
This is the Flying Star chart for December 2020.
As you can see, all the stars are doubled in each sector.
The Yearly Flying star for 2020 and the Monthly flying stars for December are exactly same.
So, what does this mean?
It means that areas which have good stars become doubly auspicious and areas which have negative stars become doubly inauspicious this month.
Hence, you need to take extra care if your main door or bedroom has a negative star.
The star in the centre of the flying star chart is number 7 this year and this month, which sets the tone for this month.
The number 7 star brings loss and robbery energy with it. Do not take risks this month and make sure you apply the right cures in your home and office.
NORTHEAST: 1
Northeast has the Victory star number 1 this year and month which means people who have their main door in the Northeast or have their bedroom there, will be very lucky this month.
They will find that they will succeed in whatever you do. There will be new opportunities coming your way this month.
There are chances of promotion luck too.
Place the Victory flag in the Northeast to capture the victory luck. You can also place a wealth tree here to increase your chances of success.
SOUTH: 2
The Sickness star is in the South this year and this month as well.
So, you need to be extra careful this month if you have your bedroom in the South, especially if you have health issues, are elderly, expecting a baby, or fall in the vulnerable category.
It is better to move out of the bedroom this month. If you cannot, make sure that you have the health cures like the metal Wu Lou or 6 rod metal wind chime in your bedroom.
It would be a good idea to see a doctor at the first sign of any health issue.
Placing more metal in the bedroom will also help you overcome the sickness star.
Some of the traditional Feng Shui cure for the Sickness star are – the Medicine Buddha amulet/plaque and Metal Wu Lou.
All Horse born people need to take extra care of their health this month.
They should carry the health amulet with them all the time.
NORTH: 3
North has the annual Quarrelsome star Number 3 in its sector this month. This star is doubled as the Yearly Flying Star is also the same.
If you have your bedroom in the North or your main door faces North, then you need to be more careful.
Keep this area quiet and avoid spending too much time here.
Place something red in this part of the house, office or room.
The traditional Feng Shui cure for this star is the Fire Dragon holding the Fireball, which can be placed in the north or carried as an amulet.
All Rat signs should carry the Fire Dragon holding Fireball amulet or have something red on them or near them, this month.
SOUTHWEST: 4
If your house faces Southwest direction then you will find that the creativity and education luck of the residents will improve this month as the Star of Scholastic Brilliance and Romance is in the Southwest.
You can tap into this star by spending more time in the Southwest this month.
Students, writers and artists can use this star to improve their luck this month.
This star can be activated by placing symbols of education and love in the Southwest, for example, pens, brush, mandarin ducks, etc.
The traditional Feng Shui cure that you can use here is Lou Han with Crab or the Lou Han with Qi Lin.
Matriarchs, Sheep and Monkey signs will feel the effect of this star.
EAST: 5
East has the monthly and Yearly Five Yellows together, making it an area that should be kept very quiet this month. Avoid having bright lights here and don’t spend too much time in the East this month.
The Five Yellow star can bring loss of health, wealth and life.
The best cure for controlling this star is to place a Five Element Pagoda in the East.
You can also place more Metal element in the East direction to control this star.
The combination of the two 5 stars creates the Sum-of-Ten combination which brings completion luck with it.
Place a Fu Dog Treasure Chest in the East to activate the luck of Sum-of-Ten.
Rabbits should be extra careful this month. Make sure you carry the Five element pagoda amulet this month to stay safe.
SOUTHEAST: 6
If your house faces Southeast then you are in for a treat. The Heavenly star 6 is in the Southeast this month. You will feel its effect more if you have your main door or bedroom in the Southeast.
You will get new opportunities and mentors and helpful people will help you get over any problem you might be facing.
Placing a figure of Eight Immortals is the traditional Feng Shui cure for the Heavenly star.
You can also place something made of metal or Earth in the Southeast to activate this star.
Dragon and Snake animal signs will benefit from the presence of the Heavenly star in their sector.
CENTER: 7
The Robbery and Betrayal star is in the centre of the chart this month. We have seen this the negative effects of this star through the year and now it is bringing double the energy this month.
Be a bit more cautious while making decisions and do not to be too hasty.
To stay safe from this star use blue or red colour in the centre of the house or office.
You can also place a Water feature here.
The traditional Feng Shui cure to control the negative effect of this star is the Blue Rhino and Elephant figure or plaque.
NORTHWEST: 8
The prosperity star is also doubled this month.
People born in the Year of Dog and Boar will benefit the most from this star. All Patriarchs will also feel its effects this month.
If your house faces Northwest or your bedroom is in the Northwest, you will also benefit from prosperity luck this month.
Try and spend more time in the Northwest this month.
To activate the prosperity energy, display a wealth vase or a water feature in the Northwest.
WEST: 9
West has the future prosperity star in its sector bringing new opportunities to make money.
If your house faces West then you have the chance of getting recognition for your work.
You can activate this star by placing some Fire element here.
Never use too much fire element when activating a sector, especially when using red colour. Remember, a little bit of fire is enough to activate the sector.
You can also place the 9 Phoenix plaque in the West.
Rooster born people benefit from this star this month.
As the stars are doubling up this month, it is a good idea to be more careful and cautious this month. Make sure you work out the directions and place the right cure in the right directions.
The areas to watch out for are: South, East and North.
