I am going to talk to you about numbers today.
We see and use numbers all the time in our day to day activity.
Some numbers are considered more auspicious than others in Feng Shui.
Before we look at the numbers I would like to quickly talk about the different dimensions of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui can be divided into three dimensions.
These three dimensions are Space Feng Shui, Time Feng Shui and Spiritual Feng Shui.

Ok. Back to the dimensions of Feng Shui 🙂
Numbers play an important role in Time dimension Feng Shui.
Time Feng Shui divides time (or years) into cycles of time periods which last for 20 years.
There are a total of 9 periods, each of 20 years.
The full cycle of 9 periods lasts for 180 years (9 x 20 = 180).
Each 20 year period has a reigning number from 1 to 9.
We are in the Period of 8 right now.
This period started in 2004 and will last till 2024 (20 years)
The ruling number of this period is number 8.
Number 8 is normally considered a lucky number in Feng Shui but this number is even more strong and auspicious now because it is the ruling number of this period.
Number 8 is considered to unlock the luck of the current period and brings wealth luck and success too.
This number also brings new knowledge along with it.
So, it is a good idea to use number 8 in your phone numbers, car registration number, when looking for a house or when choosing your business name etc.
A word of caution here.
Remember that Feng Shui is all about balance.
Do not become over enthusiastic and get a phone number with all 8s.
For example, a mobile number in Australia has 10 digits, and if someone got all 8s then it would look something like this, 0488888888.
The energy of 8 can be very powerful and can become too strong to handle.
So it is better to have a few 8s in your number.
My mobile number has a few 8s too 😉
It is 0448 468 968 🙂
Always keep the idea of balance in mind when applying Feng Shui.
You do not want to just focus on wealth or prosperity luck in life.
Relationships, health, family, self care are equally important and should be given priority too.
So have fun using number 8 in your day to day life 🙂
