Hey!
How are you going?
We are rugging up and cranking up the heater too, as it gets colder here ?
Today I am going to talk to you about using different elements in your house, office or business.

You might have noticed that I talk a lot about using elements in our personal space.
So, what are these elements?
Feng Shui and other Chinese philosophies believe that everything is made of Five elements.
These Five elements include:
- Wood
- Water
- Metal
- Earth
- Fire
Feng Shui is a also a big believer in creating balance in your space, your eating habits and your life.
And how is this balance created?
It is created by using these Five elements 🙂
It is amazing how quickly these elements start improving one’s life when one starts placing these elements in his or her personal space.
These elements are placed in a particular way and they follow a well calculated system.
There is definitely a method to this madness 😉
I will share some examples of these elements here too…
- Wood: Wooden chair or table, or anything made of Wood
- Water: Water features, Fountains, Pools, Ponds etc.
- Metal: Metal figures, Metal vases, Metal chairs, stools, clocks, fans etc.
- Earth: Ceramics, Earthenware, Crystal, Stones, Glass etc.
- Fire: Candles, Light, Lamp, Chandelier etc
So, let’s have a look at how you can create a sense of peace and happiness, improve your money luck, have better relationships, and improve your overall luck by applying these Five elements in your space.
I will walk you through each compass direction one by one, and tell you which element is needed in which direction, and what kind of luck that element will bring to you.
For those of you who are new to Feng Shui, this would be a great starting point.
And for those of you who have been using Feng Shui for a while, this can be a great reminder to make sure that you have all the elements where they need to be.
You will be surprised to see that some things might have moved or walked away, mine walk away too 😉
By placing these Five elements where they should be, you will be able to create a smoother and better life for yourself and your loved ones.
You will need one piece of information before you start.
You need to work out the compass directions of the space where you want to apply Feng Shui. It could be your home, office or buisness.
You can do so by standing in the middle of the house/building and work out the general compass directions or you can stand at your front door and take directions to see where all the directions fall.
Let’s start with South direction and then move on to other directions.
- SOUTH: You can place some Fire element and Wood element here. South represents the fame and recognition sector.

- NORTH: Place Water element as well as Metal element here. North represents the Career sector for everyone.

- EAST: In the East you can place Wood and Water element. East is the universal Health direction.
- SOUTHEAST: Place some Wood element as well as Water element here. Southeast represent the Wealth sector for everyone.

- WEST: Placing Metal element and Earth element in the West is good to activate this sector. West represents the Children’s and descendants luck.
- NORTHWEST: In the Northwest place Metal and Earth element. This sector is the Father’s direction as well as it brings helpful people in your life.

- NORTHEAST: You can place Earth element and Fire element here. This sector helps with education luck and personal growth.
- SOUTHWEST: Place Earth element and Fire element in this sector. Southwest is the Mother’s sector and brings relationship luck when activated properly.

When you place these Five elements in the different compass directions, you create the right balance of elements in your personal space.
After you have placed each element where it should be, you should start feeling a sense of calm around you.
And, things should start working in your favour.
If you have had projects or important deals stuck for a while, they should start moving in your favour.
This layer of Feng Shui is one of the most important layers.
It is the foundation on which the rest of Feng Shui is based. And when the foundation is strong, you can go as high as you want…

So, make sure you apply this layer in your home, in your office and in your business premises too.
Once you have applied it, keep your eyes and ears open.
The results that Feng Shui brings usually feels like a coincidence. But, it is Feng Shui at work 🙂
Good luck with applying this tip.
