Hope you had a lovely weekend.
As you get ready to go to work this morning, I would like to remind you to keep a few things in mind.
All of us have four good directions, directions which bring good luck to us when we face them, and, four not-so-good directions, which create problems in our lives when we face them.
Now, you must be wondering how facing a particular direction can be good or bad!
Well!!!
It is all about energy.
The directions that are good for you bring positive, growth energy to you.
Likewise, the directions that are not good for you bring negative, blocking energy to you.
So…
It is important to work out your good and bad directions and keep them in mind all the time.

There is a general rule in Feng Shui regarding doors which says that you should try and use doors which are facing your good direction.
For example, if you are an East group person , you should use doors which are auspicious for you. And the doors which face East, South, North and Southeast are good for East group people.
If your Kua number is 1, 3, 4 or 9 then you can use these four directions.
You should use a door which faces one of the four good directions, when leaving or entering your house or workplace.
But, what do you do if you have only one door to enter or leave?
In case you do not have an option to use any other door and the main door happens to be facing one of your bad direction, then we use a Feng Shui remedy to help you out.
And this Feng Shui remedy uses elements to fix the problem.
So, if you are an East group person, your four good directions are: East, North, South and Southeast.
Your four inauspicious directions are: West, Northwest, Northeast or Southwest.
And if your main door faces any of the other four inauspicious directions, then you need to use these remedies.
- If your main door faces West or Northwest, wear or carry something red (Fire element) with you each time you enter or leave.
- If your main door faces Northeast or Southwest, then carry something green (wood element) with you.
Similarly, if you are a West group person, your four good directions are: West, Northwest, Northeast and Southwest.
Your unlucky directions include, East, North, South and Southeast.
People with Kua numbers: 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 fall in the West group.
And, if your main door faces one of the unlucky directions then you can remedy it by using the following elements:
- If your main door faces South, wear or carry something blue (water element) in your hand.
- If your main door faces East or Southeast, wear something made of gold (Metal element) when you use the door.
- If your main door faces North then carry or wear a crystal or semi precious stone (Earth element) with you.
Remember, these Feng Shui remedies will protect you from the negative energy of the bad luck directions but they will not help bring in luck to you.
Check the direction your main door faces.
Is it good for you?
If it is not then look for another door and check it’s direction.
Try and use a door which is good for you (whenever possible,otherwise apply the remedy).
You need to keep in mind the Yearly Flying Star chart in mind too, when using the doors. If there is a bad star in the direction of your door, then make sure you keep that area quiet by opening and closing the door slowly and do apply the cure for that star too.
