Hey everyone.

How is your day going? I am sitting here, with a cup of coffee, ready to share some thoughts on medications and health using a Feng Shui perspective.

We all use medicines in our day-to-day life. If you have an ailment, chances are, you are taking a medicine for it. It could be for diabetes, high blood pressure, depression or any other health condition you might have.

I would like to ask you a question. How do you store your medication? I am hoping that you store it according to the manufacturer’s suggestions. But, I want to know how you store your mediation which doesn’t have to be refrigerated or doesn’t need special conditions for storage?

Is it sitting on your bedside table or is it in the drawer? Do you have a special container or medicine cabinet where you put your medicines or are they sitting on the kitchen counter?

There are a lot of different ways of storing medications, but you would have your own unique way of storing and placing them, a way that works best for you. A way that makes it easy for you to remember to take them on time.

Now, let’s see how we can use Feng Shui and it’s principles to improve the effectiveness of the medications and hence improve the quality of your or your loved one’s life.

As you know, East is the universal direction of health. If you or a family member is unwell or sick, you can look at activating the East corner of your house to improve the health and well-being of everyone living in the house. East is also the direction where you can store your medications by tapping into the health direction. If possible, try and place your medications in the East corner of the room. If you feel that it would be too hard for you to remember to take them, then do not worry about moving them. You will be better of having them in their usual spot.

There is another thing that you can do.

Make sure you do not display your medications for everyone to see. When you have medicines sitting on bench tops or table tops, chances are, you see them all the time. You do not want to be constantly reminded of your ailment and you do not want the energy of your room to pick up these vibes all day long.

Remember that saying, “What you see is what you get?”

Have a look around your room. What do you see? The objects around us not only effect us, they also create our thought patterns, and we all know how powerful our thoughts can be. When you keep your medicines in a cupboard or a drawer, you are ensuring that the energy of your room stays positive and so do you.

Your health is directly related to the state your room/home, so keep it clean and tidy. Get rid of the stuff you don’t need or use anymore.Look under your bed. Let the air circulate under the beds. Do not store stuff under the bed, if possible.

To further improve your health, try and sleep with your head ideally pointed towards your health direction, if that is not possible then try and orient your bed towards one of your other three good directions.

When you start applying these principles, you will start seeing an improvement in your health.

If you are suffering from a chronic or serious illness then I would recommend moving out of the bedroom and sleeping in another room for some time. It could be possible that your bedroom has sickness stars and need to be fixed. Some of these stars can create lots of health issues if not corrected. If you do not know what to do, you can still break the cycle of sickness by moving out of your bedroom. I know a lot of people laugh it off and say how could this tip possibly help them, or there are others who say that they love their bedroom and could not move out, no matter what. In such situations I let them decide what is more important to them, their health and well being or their comfort?

By following these tips you should feel and see an improvement in your health.
