When there are situations in your life creating heartache for you, chances are that there is something wrong with the Feng Shui of your house.
Your house and the house plan, i.e. the placement of the rooms in your house, can actually show us what could be going wrong in your life as well as what could be causing those problems. This is a very empowering information and can help us fix the problem.
Feng Shui Consultants have to be multi-faceted individuals. They have to don a few different hats while carrying out the Feng Shui of a home, office or building. They have to think like a detective and a doctor, to find out where the problem is, what is causing it and then find the right treatment to fix it.
You have to remember that when we apply Feng Shui in a space, we have to look at a lot of different aspects of the space to see what might be creating the problem.
We also have to look at how the space that you live in could be a problem in itself, based on your personal good or bad directions.
If this isn’t confusing enough for you then let me share what else we have to do…
We have to keep in mind how the yearly stars might be impacting you and your home, and how it might be interacting with your personal space and your personal directions as well.
And, to top it all, we have to keep in mind how your luck and your spouses/partners’ luck interacts with each other and how your personal directions interact with that of others in your home.
As you can see, there are a lot of things at work here, and these are the things that are creating your luck or lack of it, in your life.
Keeping this in mind, Feng Shui Consultants try and create a balance in your environment, by fixing all the problems one by one and then improving all the aspects that need to be improved.
This might sound too complicated to you but for someone who understands how all the layers work together and how to gel them together, it is a piece of cake.
And yes, the changes that we suggest and recommend, bring positive results very quickly.
I can speak from my own experience, at home, and from the experiences of all the people I have worked with over the years, having helped them achieve more harmony, happiness, good health, success and prosperity in their lives.
Now let’s have a look at some of the reasons behind the rebellious behaviour of your child.
Before we look into this problem from a Feng Shui perspective, I would like to stress on the importance of having rules and boundaries for children as they are growing up. There is a better chance of teaching the children what is right and wrong when they are still young and willing to learn, as compared to trying to unlearn the bad behaviours they have learnt and teach them new habits. I personally feel that nipping the bad behaviour or bad attitude in the bud is really important. I also understand the pressures of our daily lives. So if you are in such a situation, don’t feel disheartened or blame yourself, just try and apply the tips I am suggesting here in addition to getting proper help and you should see an improvement in your child real soon.
There are a few things that we look at, from a Feng Shui perspective, while trying to understand the cause of the rebellion.
- We look at the main door of the house to see if it is being afflicted by negative energy in the form of a big pillar or any other object that could be sending poison arrows towards it.
- Then we look at the bedroom door and check for negative energy here too.
- If the child’s bedroom door faces a bathroom or toilet door then he/she will feel unmotivated and be rebellious towards others.
- To remedy this situation, place a wind chime above the bathroom/toilet door.
- Having a staircase opposite the bedroom door can have the same consequence and can be fixed by using a wind chime too.
- If you can, change their bedroom and try and place the bed in such a way that it faces one of their good directions.
- If you remember, every person has a Kua number and once you know your Kua number, you know which 4 directions are good for you and which 4 directions are to be avoided. Keep this in mind when you are setting up your bedrooms. At times it might not be possible to place the bed in one of your 4 good directions, in such a case try and place it towards your first unfavourable direction.
- Check your child’s Kua number and work out their good directions.
- Once you know their 4 good directions, try and orient their bed in such a way that they sleep with their head towards their Nien Yen or love and family direction. This will bring about a change in their attitude and make things better for all of you.
- If the child is having study related problems, then you can orient their bed to face their Fu Wei direction which is also know as the Personal Development direction. They can use this direction to sit and study as well.
- If they are suffering ill health, then the direction to look at is their Tien Yi or health direction.
- You can calculate your Kua number by following the instructions given in the tables and then work out your good and bad directions.
I know it can be a hard task trying to get the kids to move their beds around. If you can reason with them, that is fine, otherwise you can try and fix all the other problems and that should help improve the situation as well.
When children act up it is usually a sign that they need attention. If we spend more time with them on a regular basis, chances are they will feel happier and will enjoy all the activities they do, either at home or at school.
If you feel that you have tried everything and you still cannot improve your life, then why not give Feng Shui a go.
As I always say, “Feng Shui is the best investment one can make for themselves and their loved ones”.
And, remember,
“Feng Shui is a gift that keeps on giving through out your life”.
Maybe it is time to try this age old philosophy. You have nothing to lose and you might gain good health, happiness and prosperity in return.
