How has your week been? It has been really cold here in Canberra.
Luckily, we had a gorgeous day yesterday with the sun shining brightly.
On days like this I love to open up all the windows to bring fresh energy in.
Talking about energy, let’s look at the bathrooms and toilets in your home.
In Feng Shui, we don’t look too nicely at the bathroom and toilets because of the energy around them.
Toilets are considered much more worse than a bathroom.
Keeping this in mind, never place your bed or your child’s bed on a wall which has a toilet behind it.
Have a look at your bedroom design.
Is your bathroom or toilet sharing a wall with your bedroom?
And, check specifically to see if your bed head shares a wall with the toilet?
This situation is not advisable in Feng Shui as it brings lots of health problems and stress to the person sleeping in this situation.
You would not want to be sleeping near something that is dirty and stinky, would you?
Just imagine if your bed is placed right behind a toilet, what kind of energy would you be absorbing every night?
So, if possible, move your bed away from the toilet wall and position it as shown in the picture.
If you have no choice, then pull your bed away from the wall so that it is not touching the wall and place a barrier between the bed and the wall. This could be a cupboard, a screen or a tall boy.
Make sure there are no sharp edges or corners pointing towards your bed when you use a screen, cupboard or a tall boy. We don’t want to create another problem while trying to fix one.
