Hey there!

We start the Year of Rat with mixed feelings.

Usually, the new year brings along with it hope and new vigour but this year brought with it lots of problems for everyone.

The fires in Australia have been devastating and heartbreaking.

The Coronavirus is bringing another wave of panic and worry.

Hopefully the rest of the year will be more peaceful and productive!

From a Feng Shui perspective, there are certain things that everyone should keep in mind every year to help improve your luck.

I am going to share some Feng Shui tips to control the negative stars that will be affecting everyone in 2020.

The Chinese New Year started on the 25th of January this year.

For those of you who apply the Annual Feng Shui Flying Star remedies/cures in their homes, offices and businesses, it is time to do so now.

If you don’t have the traditional Feng Shui cures you can just use the elemental cures and place them in the correct directions.

East: The Five Yellow Star is in the East this year. Try and avoid renovating this area and keep it quiet too. If you have your main door here then try and use another door to enter and leave the house. If that is not possible then make sure that you close the door gently each time you open it. To control this Star you can place Metal element here.

North: The Grand Duke of Jupiter is in North this year. Make sure you do not face North direction even if it is one of your best directions. In addition to that, North also has the Quarrelsome Star this year. Keep this area quiet and place something Red there.

South has the Sickness Star as well as the Three Killings this year. If you have your main door or your bedroom in the South part of your house then you need to be more careful about your health. Place a Wu Lou in the South part of your bedroom or house and keep this area quiet. Make sure that you do not sit with your back to the South this year.

And lastly, keep the Center of you house quiet too as the Burglary Star is in the Center this year and you can remedy it by placing a Blue carpet in the Center of your house.
