It is school holidays here.
We are enjoying the beautiful sunny autumn days and relaxing at home, talking, eating, watching movies and generally relaxing :).
It is nice to get a break from the usual busyness of life.
I just went for a walk around the lake and thought of sharing my thoughts on water :).
So, going back to my original question, Do you live near a lake, pond or ocean?
If you remember, water element is the symbol of money and wealth in Feng Shui.
When you place water in the right part of your home or office, it brings you more money.
The size of the water matters too.
If you live near a lake or a big body of water, you will become rich over time.
That doesn’t mean that you should move to be right at the edge of an ocean.
There are certain things that you need to be aware of regarding the placement and size of water.
Ideally, the water body should be in front of the house.
Water behind the house usually suggests lost opportunities but, if you need to activate the back of your house (or building) with water, based on the Flying Stars, then that works really well too.
The direction of your main door should be good for you, for you to benefit from the big water.
You shouldn’t be too close to the water either, as water has a tendency to drown a person if it is too big.
In Feng Shui we always look for balance.
Don’t be greedy and get a massive swimming pool in your house either.
With water and fire elements, less is more.
Always remember, balance is the key to success and happiness.
