In my last post I talked about the Pa Kua and the eight compass directions, and how each direction can have different meanings, elements and aspirations attached to them.
Let’s have a deeper look at how you can use a Pa Kua in your home and achieve a balance of energies and improve your overall luck.
Have a look at the Pa Kua again and note how each direction has a particular trigram (three lines in different combinations) and element associated with it.
These elements create a balance of energy when used in a space.
You can use these elements in your home, office or business to create the balance of energy.
You need to work out the directions of your home or office space first.
Stand in the middle of your house and using a good compass work out all the directions.
It is a good idea to have a copy of your house plans in front of you before you start calculating the directions.
Once you know where all the directions are, you can mark them on the house plan.
Now that you know where the different directions in your home/space are, you can then superimpose the Pa Kua over your house plan.
You can do this by aligning the directions, for example, align ‘South’ of the Pa Kua with the ‘South’ of your house plan.
After you have aligned both the plans, i.e. Pa Kua and the house/floor plan, you have the basic blueprint for success in your hand.
Use the information on the Pa Kua and activate each compass direction by using the element mentioned for each direction.
I have used pictures which depict the element for each direction in this photo to make it easier for you to understand and apply the required element.
Let’s go through each direction and the element that you need to place there:
East: The element here is Big Wood which is represented by trees or a big wooden sculpture.
Southeast: The element is Small Wood and is represented by small plants and bushes.
South: The element is Fire and you can activate this direction by placing a fireplace here or a candle or chandelier.
Southwest: The element here is Big Earth and can be activated by placing an image of a mountain or big boulders.
West: The element for West is Small Metal and you can place anything g made of metal here, like small metallic garden sculptures or wind chimes.
Northwest: The element is Big Metal and can be activated by using big garden sculptures made of metal.
North: The element here is Water and you can have a swimming pool, pond or a water feature here.
Northeast: The element of Northeast is Small Earth and you can activate it by placing small stones or things made of ceramic or clay.
Once you have placed the right element in all the directions you will start feeling improvement in your life.
Make sure you apply all the elements in one go, as this creates a balance of energy in each direction simultaneously.
You can use this formula at home, work or your business premises as well.
This method can be applied at a macro as well as micro level.
Macro level would be on a big factory or building, and Micro level can be your work desk or just one room. The choice is totally up to you.
Have fun using this Feng Shui technique to improve your career, success, health, relationships, finances, education, mentor luck etc.
