Yesterday, we were visited by four Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos. They flew over our house and sat down on the Pine trees in the reserve behind our house, and enjoyed a sumptuous meal of Pine cones.

I have always felt an affinity with Black Cockatoos, and decided to paint one. I am sharing an oil painting of a Black Cockatoo that I made a couple of years ago.
Birds are considered to bring good news, when they visit your home. Make special effort to encourage birds to inhabit your garden, by placing bird baths around your garden. When the plants in your garden are green and healthy, they will automatically attract different species of birds.
