The Chinese New Year starts on the 22nd of January this year. And as all of us understand, each year we have to get our homes and businesses ready for the coming year.
This year is the Year of the Water Rabbit. It is a much better year as compared to the last year. The Romance and Education Star is in the centre of the chart which brings more chances of finding love this year and it also brings the energy of knowledge which means people will wan to learn new skills this year.
So, what do you have to do this year to stay safe and to keep progressing?

Some key points to remember this year are:
- Spend more time in the North, South and centre of the house or office as there are good stars here
- Keep the East, Northwest, West parts of your house, office and business quiet this year
- Every one should carry a figure or pendant of Dog this year, especially those born in the Year of Dragon, Rooster, Rat and Rabbit
- All Patriarchs as well as Dog and Boar signs should carry the Five Element Pagoda keychain with them this year
- The Sickness Star is in the East this year. If your bedroom is in the East then try and move out to another room, if possible. If it is not possible then make sure you the Feng Shui cures in place
