It is normal to complain, right? When things go wrong, we complain.
When the government doesn’t do the right thing, we complain.
When there is too much rush on the roads or in the supermarket, we complain.
When our health is giving us problems, we complain.
When we don’t have enough money, we complain.
We, as human beings, tend to complain about a lot of things.

A little bit of complaining is actually good as it lets out steam. And if it is your job to look for what is wrong in the system, that is ok. But, we don’t realise how this little bit of complaining becomes a habit and we start complaining all the time.
I think becoming aware of your habits is the first crucial step towards changing them.
So, from today I would like you to listen to your conversations with your family, friends and acquaintances.
If you pay attention, you will find out very quickly where the conversations go.
Most people who are in the habit of complaining will quickly steer the conversation towards the hike in fuel and gas prices, the inefficient health system, the bad state of the economy etc.
I am not saying you should stop discussing the state of affairs in your city or country, completely.
Right now, I just want you to become aware of your conversations and your habitual bent of thinking.
Then, think how you can change it to something more positive and uplifting!
Yes there is a lot to complain about but there is also so much to be thankful about.
Think how lucky you are to have the electricity, clean water or just water in the taps ?, roads to drive on, healthcare, the list goes on.
Before you start complaining about what you don’t have, be grateful for what you have.
It will be hard initially but keep persisting and you will start seeing a shift in your life.
There will be so many more reasons to be happy.
If each one of us starts shifting our focus from the problems we have to being grateful for what we have, we will be able to turn around the future of our world.
But, looking for the good in every situation has to become a habit only then it will show its true worth.
Getting into the habit of looking for the good in every situation ‘Now’ is a great starting point.
Keep doing it regularly so that when life throws a curveball or curveballs, you are already in the habit of smiling through your adversities and can still focus on all the positives life has to offer you.
Oh, and it is completely ok to crumble and cry, blame others for your problems, once in a while ☺️. Just remember to brush it off after each crumble and get back to focusing on the goodness of your life.
Over time you will start focusing on the good more and more and eventually you will master your thoughts and create the ‘good’ more and more.
Consistent practice and patience will get you there.
Once you shift your focus from what you don’t have to what you have, you will start feeling a sense of gratitude and you will start enjoying life more.
This shift in attitude is really important. As you start feeling happy, the universe will start bringing more occasions for you to be happy.
For those of you who understand law of attraction, will understand!
To bring about a shift in your life, you need to shift your focus. That is the key to unlocking a happier future!
