For most people it is a mystery.

It is amazing how thousands of years ago people managed to work out formulas based on the contours of the land, the flow of energy, the movement of stars, the date of birth of a person, etc. and used it to improve their lives.
And, these formulas are still relevant and can be applied effectively in our modern homes, apartments and buildings.
Feng Shui is all about the energy of a space.
A very simplistic explanation of Feng Shui could be that when the energy is good, it brings good luck and when the energy is stale/old, it brings bad luck.
It is not just the physical aspect of energy where we look at a room and see if it is cluttered or clean, to judge if the energy is good or not.
Each room also has a hidden energy pattern which, over time, can create good or bad luck for people living in those rooms.
Well, even if we don’t understand the mechanics of Feng Shui, we do know that it works quite quickly when applied correctly.
The key word to remember is ‘Applied correctly.’
Every room in a house or building has its own energy pattern which is based on the orientation or compass direction of the building.
Some rooms will have good energy signature while others will have bad energy signature.
Now, having this knowledge can really help us work out where to place rooms in a house, office, or business.
And, this knowledge can actually make or mar your success.

Feng Shui can be and should be personalised to get the maximum benefit.
I must admit, it is not always easy to get everything right even in the planning (building) stages.
But, the good news is that we can get a lot of things right or we can find the next best thing, ensuring that your stay in your beautiful home is good and that it keeps improving your life as the years go by.
And for those of you who are already living in a house and don’t have the option of moving or building, there is still hope.
We (Feng Shui consultants) can actually recommend changes and Feng Shui cures for your existing house or office, to help control the negative effects of the stars which bring problems like, health issues, bankruptcy, infidelity etc.
Obviously, this situation is not the best but it is the next best thing that you can benefit from immensely.
For all of this to work you will have to be open minded, flexible and ready to apply the recommendations.
Most recommendations are easy to apply but sometimes there can be some problems that need a bit more effort and money to remedy.
For example, a black or a blue roof is not a good idea based on Feng Shui principles.
If you have a black/blue roof I will ask you to get the colour changed, and that can be a bit expensive.
But, compared to the problems that the existing roof will bring to you or is already creating for you, the price of either changing or repainting the roof will be minuscule.
So, if you have a black or blue roof and your life is not going too smoothly, you know what to do :).
Feng Shui is based on lots of calculations and formulas.
Each person has his or her own personal good and bad directions.
Each house has its own good and not-so-good rooms.
