Hi there.
In Feng Shui, we talk about the invisible life force or the Chi all the time.
Chi, also known as the Life force or the Cosmic breath, flows not only through the human body but also through the earth.
Meandering rivers and streams as well as the wind, helps accumulate Chi on the land.

Similarly, Chi travels in our body through our veins and arteries.
The accumulation of healthy Chi helps strengthen the body as well as the land.
We tend to absorb Chi from our surroundings, both consciously as well as passively (without realising it).
This absorption of Chi is one of the main factors which defines our energy levels.
When the Chi is vibrant and healthy, the energy levels of people living in that environment will be active, healthy, abundant and thriving.

When the Chi is stale and stagnant, the energy levels of people living there will be low, causing sickness, lethargy and bad luck.
When the Chi is flowing too fast it gets depleted and dispersed.
When there is Stagnant Chi, it creates breakdown of energy.
Ideally, the flow of Chi should be slow and meandering.
We want the energy or the Chi to be healthy and vibrant so that it can bring good health, happiness and abundance to everyone.
Feng Shui can be used very effectively to create the right conditions for the Chi to accumulate and grow.
The essence of Feng Shui is based on the quality of Chi of an area (or building).
For those of you who do not know much about Feng Shui principles but want to create the optimum space for healthy Chi to accumulate in your home or business, here are some simple tips that you can apply and benefit from:
- Keep your personal space clean all the time (or at least most of the time ?)
- Get rid of clutter or any excess stuff you may have around you, and in your cupboards too
- Try to place furniture in such a way that it slows down the energy and meanders through the room, rather than rush down
- Well lit places tend to have a better concentration of Chi
- Rooms that are not used regularly should also be kept clean, well lit and aired regularly
- Move things around to keep the Chi` vibrant and healthy
- Add some healthy plants in areas where you spend more time through the day (not in bedrooms)
- Add a splash of colour to energise your space (go slow on red colour, a little bit of red is good enough)
- Add a moving water feature/fountain to help move the energy around (not in bedrooms)
- Throw a party ?

By following these simple steps you will be able to keep the Chi active and it will benefit the occupants by bringing good health, happiness and abundance.
It is important to slow down not just the Chi in your home or office, but in your life too.

Slowing down gives you and your body a chance to rest and recuperate.
When you are on the move all the time, the energy is always fast and it doesn’t get a chance to slow down and accumulate positive energy in the body.
It is only when you slow down that you let the body accumulate positive energy which is so important for the nourishment of our physical and mental health, mind and soul.
So, take some time to slow down the Chi in your life and in your home.
You will be pleasantly surprised by the change in your life as well as your luck ?.
Have a wonderful week.
