It is nearly the weekend. Yay!
Let’s talk about something fun as we step into the weekend.
I don’t know about you but I have always loved dragons.
It is almost as if the child in me is attracted to Dragons ? just as children are attracted to Dinosaurs ? ? ☺️.
Dragon imagery is used profusely in Feng Shui and it represents good luck, success and abundance.
Do you have any Dragon paintings or sculptures in your home?
I remember we used to have a beautiful pair of Dragons in our home, while growing up.
Over the years I have collected quite a few Dragons.
If you too have a sculpture or figure of a Dragon then you will be able to use the information I am going to share with you in this blog post.
So, the first step would be to know how to use the image of a Dragon in your home, business or office, based on Feng Shui.
Here is a list of ways you can use and place a Dragon:
- Every house should have a figure or painting of a Dragon
- You can place the sculpture of the Dragon in your living room or you could place it outside your house
- The Dragon should ideally be placed facing East
- Dragons bring money luck to the residents
- The figure of the Dragon should not be skinny. A fat dragon is preferable to a skinny dragon
- And, ideally the Dragon should be holding a pearl in it’s claw
- It is a good idea to place a Dragon near your Water features
- If you don’t have any Water features in your home then you can place the Dragon near the sink in the kitchen
Where not to place a Dragon:
- A Dragon should not be placed inside a toilet or bathroom
- It should not even face the Bathroom or Toilet door
- Do not place a Dragon in the South of your home
- Do not place a Dragon inside your bedroom
- Never place a Dragon above the Fire place
- Do not buy a carpet or rug with a Dragon on it as that will mean you are stepping on the Dragon which is considered inauspicious
- It is a good idea to wear a Dragon pendant for protection but avoid wearing it near your heart
- It is ok to wear the pendant around the neck
- You can wear a Dragon pin or brooch: men should wear it on the left collar and women should wear it on the right collar
- Dragon rings should be worn on the left hand by men, and right hand by women
Now that you have this information you can apply it in your personal space and benefit from the energy of the Dragon.
There is another thing that I would like to point out here.
In Feng Shui there are 12 animal signs and there are 6 pairs of animal signs which clash with each other.
We generally suggest not to have your clashing animal sign near you.
But there is an exception ?.
Let’s take an example to clarify this point.
Dragon and Dog sign are clashing animal signs in Feng Shui astrology.
But, even Dog signs can carry a figure of a Dragon or display Dragon in their home.
So, go ahead and get yourself a Dragon to stay safe and get more abundance in your life.
