If you have ever picked up a Feng Shui book or have read any blog posts on Feng Shui, you would have noticed that there are quite a few different styles of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui has so many do’s and don’ts that it can get very confusing at times.
Some Feng Shui practitioners might say one thing, while another might say something completely opposite to it.
You have to remember that there are a lot of different schools of Feng Shui and they will all have some difference in their approach to the understanding and application of Feng Shui.
But, if you look closely, most Feng Shui schools and branches have the same underlying principles.
As time has gone by, different Feng Shui masters have tried out different techniques, found them effective, and added these to their repertoire.
Different interpretations and personal experiences have brought about a change in the original science of Feng Shui.
The original philosophy of Feng Shui was made for the topography of an area or for houses with lots of land attached to it.
Over time, as the availability of land became scarce, the same principles of Feng Shui had to be adapted to make it work for densely built areas.
If you are feeling confused and frustrated or, if you haven’t seen any improvement in your life after applying Feng Shui in your home or office, you might need to have another look at the system that you are following.
The key word here is ‘Any improvement.’
You have to remember that not everything can be cured or fixed completely by Feng Shui.
If you remember, Feng Shui is one-third (1/3) of your total basket of luck.
Which means that you can’t blame everything on the Feng Shui of your home or office ;).
I know, it would be nice if we could put all the blame on our home/office, then get a Feng Shui consultant in to fix it, and then lead a blissful life, forever :).
Your personal habits and attitudes (1/3) also have a major role to play in where you are at, in life.
Your destiny also plays an equal amount (1/3) of role in creating your life.
But, from what I have seen and experienced as a Feng Shui consultant is that the Feng Shui of your house does play a major role in creating or marring your luck.
The energy around you has a great impact on your luck.
When we fix the immediate space of your home or office, we create more positive energy around you and your family, or your work mates, helping them achieve better results and outcomes.
If your luck is good and you are using Feng Shui, it gives you a jumpstart towards achieving your goals.
But if your luck is low and you are using Feng Shui, it will give you a better chance of succeeding in life.
And, if your luck is low and you are not using Feng Shui, chances are you will give up and not succeed in achieving your goals. Unless, you are a very motivated and driven person. Then you can achieve whatever you aim for :).
So, going back to different schools of Feng Shui and whether you have seen and felt any improvement after applying the Feng Shui remedies, if you haven’t seen any improvement then maybe you should try a different school of Feng Shui.
But, before you do that, make sure that you remove all the other Feng Shui remedies first and start from scratch.
Mixing different styles of Feng Shui is not a good idea.
My suggestion is to stick with one style or school of Feng Shui.
The reason I am saying this is because different schools of Feng Shui might be following totally different and at times totally opposite principles and, when you mix these two, it could create more problems rather than fix problems for you.
Sticking with one school of Feng Shui till you really understand it and master it, is a good idea.
Once you have understood the basic principles behind it, you will be able to then make your own interpretations and understand the deeper meanings behind all the Feng Shui remedies.
In order to get to that point you will have to read more on Feng Shui and apply the Feng Shui remedies diligently.
It is only when you apply the Feng Shui remedies or cures that you really see and experience an improvement in your life.
If all this sounds too complicated or time consuming to you, just get in touch with a Feng Shui Consultant and get the Feng Shui of your home or office sorted.
People who have experienced the changes and improvements in their lives after using Feng Shui don’t move or build houses/offices without first consulting a Feng Shui master.
And, they have very good reason to do so.
I know I wouldn’t move, buy, rent or build a house before first consulting or using Feng Shui :).
The whole point of using Feng Shui is to make sure that our life is full of abundance and happiness most of the time, instead of problems and conflicts all the time.
