Hi there.

Did you have a good nights sleep?

Sleep is a vital requirement for all of us as it enables the body to rest and repair itself, enabling the body to maintain optimal health and well being.

And, quite often, Sleep is neglected by people in general.

When we Sleep, our body gets a chance to rest and repair itself, getting it ready for the next day.

Getting adequate rest may also help prevent excess weight gain, heart disease, and increased illness duration (Excerpt taken from Medical News Today. You can read this article here: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/325353).

Generally speaking, we spend at least 6 to 7 hours in our bedrooms, obviously this varies depending on how much sleep one gets.

But, some people might spend even more time in their bedrooms watching Television, reading a book or just resting.

No matter how much time you spend in your bedroom, the time you spend sleeping is when you are at your most vulnerable self.

And this is why one should make sure that the Feng Shui of their bedroom is at its best.

Here are a few Feng Shui tips that you can apply and things that you should watch out for, when you are sleeping in your bedroom:

  • You should try and sleep with your head pointing towards one of your good directions
  • The area around your bed should be clear of any clutter and junk
  • The area under your bed should be kept clean all the time
  • You should not sleep under an over head beam even if it is your best compass direction
  • Avoid sleeping with your head or feet pointing towards the bedroom door
  • Avoid sleeping directly in line with a corner of a pillar or where the corner of two walls meet
  • Do not have big chandeliers or lights right above the bed area
  • Ceiling fans can also create poison arrows and send negative energy towards you while you sleep
  • Watch out for the corners of tables in your bedroom too
  • Avoid having a mirror reflecting the bed
  • Your bed head should not be placed on the wall which shares a bathroom, especially the toilet
  • Try and move your bed to face another direction if your bed shares the wall with the bathroom
  • If that is not possible, move your bed away from the wall and make sure you have a solid bed head
  • Do not have too much red colour or any other yang/bright colour in your bedroom
  • If you have sleep issues, then try and use your bedroom only when you are ready to sleep
  • Avoid having a Television in your bedroom
  • Sleep hygiene is very important for your health and well being
  • You should look at your bedroom as a sacred place and take really good care of it

As our bodies are resting and recovering each night, it becomes imperative to create an area (bedroom) which is clean, inviting and restful.

And before I go, I would like to share my thoughts on ‘Kindness.’

You may not realise it yet, but Kindness is your Super Power!

Continue to be ‘Kind’ everyday.

The sad truth is that people who are nasty, controlling, manipulative, dominating or jealous, are insecure deep inside and need our kindness the most. But, their negative attitude drives everyone away.

Stay true to yourself and keep shining and sharing your Super Power with the world.

Keep reminding yourself, ‘Kindness is my Super power.”

Your kindness makes the world a better place for all ? ?

Oh, and don’t forget to be kind to yourself too ;).
