Good morning everyone.
We are in October already!
Day light savings have kicked in here.
The weather has been a bit erratic but the days are getting longer and it will be warm before we know it.
And, it is time to look at this month’s Flying Star Update :).
As you know, each month the stars move from one direction to another.
They follow a certain trajectory, which allows us to understand and predict where they will be moving to each month.
Once we know where the stars are (direction wise), we can then plan and control the negative stars as well as enhance the good ones, to stay safe and to keep prospering and improving our lives.
There are 9 stars and each star brings its own unique qualities along with it.
The stars in the middle of each grid is the Annual Flying star and the ones on the right side corner are the Monthly Flying stars.
Generally speaking, you feel the effect of the stars that are at your main door and in areas where you spend a lot of time, which could be your bedroom, the family room or your study.
If you are at work, then keep this in mind too.
I know it is not possible to move your rooms (at work) but if you know the direction or sector that your office is in, you can place the right Feng Shui cures there too, to stay safe.
This month’s Flying star chart starts on the 8th of October and goes till 6th of November 2021.
In the month of October all the stars are doubling up, which means that the sectors or directions that have good stars are even more auspicious this month. But, it also means that the sectors or directions that have a negative star is even more negative this month.
So, make sure you start by controlling the negative sectors first and then move on the positive sectors.
If you are my client or friend, you will already have the right Feng Shui cures in place for this year :).
Even then, you should add more Feng Shui cures, especially for the negative stars.
Luckily, the centre has a good star which rules the energy of the chart in general.
Let’s start by fixing the negative stars first and then we will move on to the positive ones :).
FIVE YELLOW STAR: NUMBER 5
The nasty Five Yellows star is in the Southeast this month as well as this year.
Luckily, the combination of these two stars create the Sum-of-Ten, which is considered very lucky. It creates Completion luck for residents of houses who face Southeast or have their bedroom in the Southeast.
You will need to add more Metal element or another Five element Pagoda in the Southeast to control the negative effects of the Five Yellow stars.
People born in the Year of Dragon and Snake should carry the Five element pagoda amulet or keyring with them this year.
The Sum-of-Ten Completion luck brings success to all your endeavours.
QUARRELSOME STAR: NUMBER 3
The Quarrelsome Star is in the Southwest this month which can bring more conflict and misunderstanding in your life if you have your main door or bedroom in the Southwest.
Avoid spending too much time in the Southwest sector this month.
All the Mums/Matriarchs, and people born in the Year of Sheep and Monkey, will feel the effects of this star more.
To remedy the Quarrelsome star, you should place more Fire element in the Southwest this month.
You can leave a lamp turned on in the Southwest, most part of the day.
You can place a red carpet there too.
A bowl of red apples will also help as Apples are considered to bring peace and calm to a space.
ILLNESS STAR: NUMBER 2
North has the Illness Star this month as well as this Year.
As the whole world grapples with the pandemic (COVID-19) and its various strains, it will be a good idea to take extra care of the North sector this month and year.
Avoid spending too much time in the North part of your home.
If you are already unwell or have an ongoing health problem, definitely avoid sleeping in the North part of your home.
Pregnant women and elderly people should also avoid sleeping in the North bedroom.
Make sure you place the right Feng Shui cures in the North, to keep the Illness Star under control.
The best way to control the Illness Star is to place Metal element there.
You can also place traditional Feng Shui cures like the Metal Wu Lou, Medicine Buddha image or plaque.
People born in the Year of Rat should be more careful this month.
They should carry the Wu Lou key chain with them all the time.
THE BETRAYAL AND LOSS STAR: NUMBER 7
The loss and betrayal star is in the Northwest.
All the Patriarchs/Dads, bosses and leaders might feel the negative effects of this star.
If your house faces Northwest then you should place the appropriate Feng Shui cures in place too.
People born in the Year of Dog and Boar/Pig should take extra care this month.
They should carry the Anti-Robbery amulet with them all the time.
Place a small water feature in the Northwest to control the negative facets of this star.
You can place the traditional Feng Shui remedies like the Kuan Kung on horseback or the Anti-Burglary Plaque.
Now that we have covered all the negative stars, lets move on to the positive or auspicious stars.
VICTORY STAR: NUMBER 1
The Victory Star is in the South this month and year.
If you live in a South facing house then this star brings great luck to you and to those who have their bedrooms in the South sector.
This star brings more prosperity through increased income, chances of a promotion at work and as well as new sources of income.
People born in the Year of Horse will also see the positive effects of this star.
You can activate this star by placing a small Water feature here.
You can place symbols or a Bowl of money ?, Wealth ship or the Flag of Victory in the South.
STUDY AND ROMANCE LUCK: NUMBER 4
The Study and Romance luck is in the East this month.
If you have exams, you can place your study table in the East part of the room and benefit from the positive energy of this star.
People born in the Year of Rabbit or those who have their main door or bedroom in the East will feel the effects of this star more.
Place Healthy plants in the East.
Place symbols of knowledge and education in the East, like books, pen and paper etc.
In India, Saraswati is the Goddess of Wisdom, knowledge, art and learning. You can place a painting of Goddess Saraswati or any other symbol from your own culture that represents education and knowledge.
Do not have too much Water in the East this month as it could create infidelity in relationships.
You can also place the Anti-Infidelity plaque in the East or you can carry the Anti-Infidelity amulet.
HEAVEN LUCK: NUMBER 6
The Center of each building is very lucky this month.
It has the Heaven luck star which brings blessings from the heaven.
You can activate this star by placing images of your personal gods and goddesses.
Earth element is used to activate this star.
Placing 6 round smooth crystal or glass balls will activate the beneficial energy of the Heaven Luck star.
Try and spend more time here.
You should also play music, and keep this area well-lit this month.
WEALTH STAR: NUMBER 8
The Wealth Star is in the West this month as well as this year.
It is a great idea to activate the West sector of your home or office to bring in more money luck to you.
You can activate this star by placing a Water feature or symbols of wealth here.
People born in the Year of Rooster as well those who have their main door or their bedroom in the West, will feel the effect of the Wealth star.
Fire energy will help activate this area more. Keep this area well-lit.
Try and spend more time in the West sector this month if you would like to benefit from this star.
FUTURE PROSPERITY STAR: NUMBER 9
The Star of Future Prosperity is in the Northeast this month.
Keep this area well lit and try and spend more time here.
Houses that face Northeast, and people born in the Year of Ox and Tiger will benefit from the energy of this star more.
You can place symbols of wealth or the 9 Dragon Plaque here.
Do not have open fire or too much Fire energy in the Northeast this month.
Make sure you stay organised and spread your work out properly in order to stay on top of things.
It is ok to refuse more work if you feel it is getting too much for you to handle.
This brings us to the end of the Monthly Flying Star Update for October 2021.
For years I didn’t apply the Monthly Flying Star Updates because I had Feng Shui’ed every corner of my house.
But, there were times when I had to add more Feng Shui cures in certain sectors, to control or enhance the effect of certain stars.
My recommendation to you would be to apply these Feng Shui cures regularly to really see the positive effects in your life.
I can get away by not applying the Monthly Flying Star Updates because I know what to look for and do, if things are not moving in the right direction :).
