And it is the Easter ? long weekend too.
I am looking forward to spending some time in my garden and get some pruning done.

For those of you who are planning to do some gardening or landscaping in their yard, this post is for you 🙂
One of the houses near our lane had some landscaping done in the front yard.
They got rid of the front lawn and put red wood chips instead.
Here is a picture of their garden/front yard.
Their intention is quite clear here.
They wanted to create an area which would be easy to maintain.
No mowing or watering of the lawn.
The area stays neat and is easy to clean.
So what is the problem then?
Nothing from a layman’s perspective but from a Feng Shui perspective this could well create a major problem.
If you remember, the colour ‘Red’ is considered a very strong colour and I have always said that one should use red conservatively.
Now, depending on the direction/compass orientation of the front yard, this addition of red mulch/wood chips could create problems for the residents of this house.
Can you remember the directions where you can use red colour?

You can use red colour (Fire energy) in the South, Southwest and Northeast direction.
So, if the front yard in this house faces one of these three directions then the red mulch/wood chip will be ok there.
But, if the the front yard has some other direction, then this red mulch/wood chip is definitely going to be problematic.
So what could they have done?
They could have gone for brown mulch/wood chip or they could have gone with smooth white stones instead.
The colour red in large amounts is definitely something to watch out for.
And when the Yearly Flying Stars move around, two of the negative stars, the Sickness star and the Five Yellow Star, can become more strong with the presence of Fire energy.
If that is the case then the residents of this house will have to remedy the stars by placing Feng Shui cures in the house, and most likely, they will need stronger cures to counter the effect of the fire energy being created by the red wood chips.
If you are thinking of painting your house or office, or planning to redo your garden or do some landscaping, my suggestion would be to get in touch with a Feng Shui Consultant first.
It is better to create a space based on Feng Shui recommendations which will bring success and happiness to you, rather than suffer and then remedy the problems created by the wrong use of elements, colours and placement of rooms.
Feng Shui is very effective in fixing almost any problem that one might be facing.
You just have to apply the Feng Shui remedies correctly to see positive results :).
