As we step towards the New Year, there are certain things we need to keep in mind to make sure that the coming year is good for us.
The Chinese New Year starts on 12th of February this year.
Usually, we like to have the Feng Shui cures in place before the 4th of February each year, and this year is no different.
Actually, the energy of the year has already started shifting and it is better to get your Feng Shui cures in as soon as possible.
So, how can you prepare for the Year of Ox, 2021?
There is a long list of things that one should follow but I am sharing some simple and effective tips with all of you today.
Declutter and Deep clean: The first thing to do would be to get rid of clutter. Anything that you don’t need or use, let it go.
Once you have decluttered, make sure you vacuum and wipe each nook and cranny of each room.
Start by choosing one room each day and go through it with a fine tooth comb , getting rid and sorting things as you go.
Depending on the number of rooms you have in your house, you will be done in those many days 🙂
It sounds simple but I know it can be an overwhelming task.
Get help if you need!
Call a friend or family member over, and get started.
I personally feel that getting started is the major step in getting anything done.
Instead of postponing it to another day, just get up and get going!
You and you home will feel so much lighter by now 🙂
Bring in some indoor plants: The next step after a deep clean would be to bring in some indoor potted plants.
This year is lacking growth energy and by introducing plants in your home, office and business, you will bring the much needed growth energy.
The areas which benefit the most from plants are the East, Southeast and South.
Add some red for wealth energy: If you are looking at improving your wealth luck this year, add some red colour in your home, office and business.
Always remember, red is a very strong colour and you do not need to go overboard when using it as a little bit of red goes a long way.
You can also wear red colour on a regular basis.
Or, just buy a nice red wallet and keep your money in it 😉
