Hi there!
It is starting to feel a lot like Christmas here in Canberra.
I hope you are getting into the festive mood too.
While you are setting up your house for the festivities, (which will be very different for a lot of people around the world), try and keep these Feng Shui tips in mind.

The area inside and outside the main door holds a special place in Feng Shui as it is the point where the energy enters your home.

We should always try and keep this area clean and avoid having any harmful features around it.

Here are some things that you should watch out for when building, buying or living in a house.
- Avoid having a pillar inside, right in front of the main door. If you can, try and move the pillar away.
- If you cannot do so, then you should cover up the pillar by placing a potted plant there. Covering it up with a climbing plant will also do the trick.
- Do not have another door right opposite the front door.
- Do not have a bathroom door right opposite the front door.
- Do not place a mirror directly in front of the main door either.
- Make sure you do not have a bathroom or toilet above the main door.
- Keep the area well lit.
- Make sure that the door is in good working condition and is not chipped or broken.

When you keep these Feng Shui taboos/Feng Shui tips in mind, you help create a welcoming space at the entrance/main door area, which helps usher in vibrant energy into the house creating a beautiful space to live in.

Creating a smooth flow of energy and maintaining a clean and clutter free environment can go a long way in creating better luck and hence, better future for all the residents of the house.
The balance of energy can be created artificially by using the five elements for Feng Shui.

“Once there is balance in a space, abundance rolls in!” ~Shelly Singh
Make sure you try and create this balance in your personal or work space to benefit from all kinds of abundance.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
