Monthly Flying Star Feng Shui Update May 2020

Things are looking much better here. Restrictions are being eased, businesses are starting to reopen, schools will open up gradually from next week. All this is happening while maintaining good hygiene practices.

Fingers crossed, the whole world gets back on its feet and starts rebuilding itself and its economy soon.

Let’s have a look at this month’s Flying Star Chart and use these Feng Shui tips to stay safe through the month of May 2020.

These stars and their meanings take on an even more deeper meaning because of the Corona Virus pandemic.

So, make sure you take all the precautions and stay well and safe till we get out of the woods.

This is the Flying Star chart for May 2020. It has two numbers in each grid.

The bigger number is the Yearly Flying Star number and the smaller number is the Monthly Flying Star number.

A quick glance at the chart shows me areas with good numbers as well as negative Flying Star numbers.

If you wanted to choose an area where there are good stars, then these three directions would qualify: Southeast, Northeast and Northwest.

You can tap into these three directions to improve your luck potential this month.

Try and spend more time in rooms which fall in these directions, or you could find these directions in the room you work from or spend a lot of time in and then tap into them.

This way you will use the positive energies of these good stars and help enhance your life.

The rest of the directions have a combination of good and bad stars as well as bad and bad stars too.

Let’s have a look at all the compass directions and what you can do to control or improve the stars and hence your life.

NORTHEAST:

  • Northeast has two good stars this month, the Yearly Number 1 star and Monthly Number 8 star
  • If you have your main door or bedroom in this direction, you will benefit from these positive stars
  • Number 1 star brings Victory luck and Number 8 star brings wealth luck
  • You can activate both the stars by placing a Wealth Tree or a Wealth vase in the Northeast
  • You can also place a 9 Rank Badge Plaque in the Northeast for the whole year
  • The animal signs of Ox and Tiger will benefit from the energies of these stars

SOUTH:

  • South has the Illness star/Sickness Number 2 this year and the Monthly Number 9 star
  • Number 9 star is also known as the magnifying star
  • It magnifies the good and the bad stars
  • You need to make sure that you have placed the cures for controlling the Illness star
  • Avoid spending too much time in the South, especially if you are sick, pregnant or have a chronic illness
  • The cure for the Sickness star is Metal element
  • Place a Wu Lou in the South for the whole year
  • You can also place an all Metal Wind chime in the South to control the Sickness star
  • Avoid having too much Fire element or Earth element in the South this year
  • Horse sign people should take extra care and they should carry the Wu Lou keychain with them this year

NORTH:

  • North has Number 1 Monthly star and Yearly Number 3 star
  • Number 1 star brings Victory to North this month
  • Activate this star with light
  • Display a Victory flag here
  • Do not have too much sound/noise here as the Quarrelsome star is also in the North this Year as well as the Grand Duke of Jupiter
  • Make sure you have something red in North to control the Yearly Quarrelsome star number 3

SOUTHWEST:

  • The Annual star here is the Education and Romance star number 4, and the Monthly star 2, which is the Sickness star
  • All the mothers of the house need to take extra care of their health this month
  • Sheep and Monkey animal signs need to be more careful as well
  • If your main door or bedroom is in the Southwest then you need to make sure that you have placed a Wu Lou there
  • Make sure you exercise regularly, eat a good diet and get enough sleep

EAST:

  • This year the Annual Five Yellows is in the East and the Monthly Quarrelsome star number 3 is the East too
  • The quarrelsome star can cause arguments among members of a family if their main door is in the East or those who have their bedroom in the East
  • Avoid spending too much time here
  • Keep this area as quiet as possible
  • Rabbit animal sign should also take extra care and carry the Five element pagoda keychain this year
  • Do place some Fire element (not too much) in the East this month to control the negative effects of the Quarrelsome star

SOUTHEAST:

  • This year the Annual star number 6 and the Monthly star number 4 are in the Southeast
  • The combination of both the stars creates the Sum-of-ten number which creates Windfall luck for people with their main door or bedroom in the Southeast
  • Try and spend more time in the Southeast this month
  • Women benefit more from this star
  • Activate this sector by placing a water feature or a wealth tree/vase here
  • You can use light and sound to activate this area too
  • Dragon and Snake animal signs should feel the benefit of the stars too
  • You can also carry the Sum-of-ten amulet to increase your chances of receiving windfall luck

CENTER:

  • The Center has the Annual Robbery Star number 7 as well as the Monthly Five Yellows (Number 5)
  • Both stars are negative so we need to make sure that we avoid spending too much time in the center of the house or building
  • Generally speaking, each person’s luck is affected by the Star which is in the center of the Flying Star chart each year as this number rules the energies of the chart
  • So, this month all of us need to take extra care
  • To control the Five Yellows you can place a Five Element Pagoda in the center of the house
  • Keep this area quiet and do not play loud music here
  • To control the Annual star, place Water element or something blue in the center of the house/building/room
  • The Robbery star can bring loss of money to people especially when it is at the man door or bedroom or in an area where you spend a lot of time

NORTHWEST:

  • The Northwest has the Yearly Wealth star number 8 and the Monthly Heaven luck Star number 6
  • This is one of the best areas in a home or office to spend more time in
  • Make sure you place a Water feature here, play music and have bright lights here
  • You can place a Wealth vase or Wealth Tree here to activate for money luck
  • You can also place an image or statue of Kuan Kung in the Northwest
  • You should feel the benefit of these auspicious stars if you have your main door or bedroom in the Northwest
  • People born in the Year of Dog as well as Boar will benefit more from these auspicious stars

WEST:

  • West has the Yearly Multiplying star number 9 and the Monthly Robbery star number 7
  • Number 7 star can bring loss of money when it is at your main door or in your bedroom
  • This star can be controlled by placing Water element in the direction where it is, for the year or month
  • You can also place something blue here
  • The Blue Rhino and Elephant plaque is a traditional Feng Shui cure to this star
  • Place some smooth crystal calls in the West this month to get rid of the negative energy created by this star
