Marriage is a big commitment among two people.

When you get married, you don’t just have to adjust living with your partner, you have to adjust/deal with the other family members too. Life can bring a lot of ups and downs and all these ups and downs can leave couples vulnerable to separation.

In some cultures parents and other family members are not too involved with the upbringing and day-to-day decision making, but there are other cultures where the whole family or at least the elderly tell you what you should be doing or not doing. As if trying to make a marriage work isn’t hard enough… you have to deal with all the unnecessary interference in the form of nosy relatives too!!!

Personally, I love talking to my parents if I need some advice on a matter. They guide me based on their life experiences, but they leave the final decision to me. There is no pressure to adhere to or follow their directions, which is something I love.

Well, whatever your situation, you will agree that marriage is an ‘Ongoing work in progress’.

Today, I will talk to you about how you can use Feng Shui to improve your married life and for those who are looking to find love, they can use this tip as well.

The number 4 star is the star responsible for family luck and harmony in a house. This star can also bring romance luck to people who are looking for a partner.

These stars (1 to 9) move around every year. And depending on which direction it is in a particular year, and what you have in that direction, can affect your relationships.

This year, 2018, the number 4 star is in the South.

Have a look around your house and see what you have in the South corner or direction of your home. If you have clutter in the South part of your house, then your relationship will suffer.

Clutter in any part of the house is a problem. Keep the energy of each area clean and fresh by regularly moving things around and getting rid of unwanted stuff.

You can energise the South corner of your bedroom or your house, by having a small water feature there. Too much water in this corner can lead to infidelity in a marriage. Keeping this in mind, you can go for a small, table top water feature rather than have a swimming pool or a big aquarium here.

Another way to enhance the energy of the number 4 star is to display peonies, either fake or real, in the South corner of the house. Peonies stimulate the good energy of this star and it helps revitalise the romance in a relationship.

Roses can also be used to enhance this sector. The best kinds to use are red, pink or orange roses. Just make sure that the roses do not have thorns, as they will create problems for the couple instead of bringing romance luck.

As the stars move around every year, you need to make sure that you apply the relevant cures and enhancers every year to benefit from their intrinsic energy. If you a swimming pool in your house, then you need to take extra care when the number 4 star moves to that direction, as too much water can lead to infidelity. It is always better to be aware and prepared, so that the negative effect of a particular star can be dealt with properly.
