Today, I am going to talk to you about how to improve your chances of getting married and improving your relationships within your family.
As you know, in Feng Shui we work with a lot of layers. These layers can seem very complex and can create confusion in the mind of the reader. My suggestion would be to take one layer at a time and master it and then move on to the more complex ones. I personally found that I was stuck on the basic part of Feng Shui for a long time. It is ok to take your time. once you are ready, you can then move on to applying the more complex layers.
The basic layer of Feng Shui can be very effective in bringing positive results, if applied properly.
So let’s begin with the basics of the relationship direction.
According to Feng Shui, Southwest is the universal love direction for everyone.

This direction is also related to the ‘Matriarch’ or ‘Mother’ of the family.
The element of this direction is Earth.
Activating and protecting the Southwest of a house creates marriage luck, improves relationships among family members and improves the luck of the mother as well.
Let’s take a look at what you can do to protect and enhance this direction.
- You can place a bright lamp in the Southwest of your family room, formal lounge or dining room. You can use white, yellow or red light.
- Avoid having too many plants or flowers in the Southwest part of your home or room.
- You should also avoid having too much wood (wooden tables, chairs or decorative objects) in the Southwest of your room/home.
- Metal elements/objects will also exhaust the energy of this corner, so it is best to have no or very minimal metal in this corner.
- You can use decorative objects made of ceramic, crystal, earthen ware, clay, or glass in the Southwest. Some examples are, crystal chandeliers, crystal vases, quartz crystals, clay pots etc.
- You can also use the following colours to enhance the Southwest: shades of Red, Yellows, Purple, Orange and Browns.
These tips will help you improve your relationships by making them more harmonious and creating opportunities for marriage luck too.
You do have to remember that there are a lot of layers that can be activated or enhanced to create a certain luck.
If you are looking at getting married or finding a life partner, and have not been successful, then you might need to look at the other layers to see where the problem is.
