Today I am going to talk to you about the direction/orientation of your house and how that can affect you.
I hope by now most of you have worked out your Kua Number, which is calculated based on your date of birth and gender, and know whether you are an East group person or a West group person.
Just a quick reminder about East and West groups and Kua numbers.
- Kua numbers 1, 3, 4, and 9 belong to the East group
- Kua numbers 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8 belong to the West group
- The good directions for East group people are: North, South, East and Southeast.
- The good directions for West group people are: West, Northwest, Southwest and Northeast.
Similarly, the house you live in can be classified as an East group house or a West group house.
East group houses face one of these four directions: North, South, East and Southeast, and
West group houses face one of these four directions: West, Northwest, Southwest and Northeast.
Now that you have these two pieces of information, let’s see how you can benefit from it.
Ideally, an East group person should live in an East group house and a West group person should live in a West group house.
The reason behind it is quite simple.
If you remember, we can use the knowledge about our good directions in our day to day activities, to get better results. When you face one of your good directions while doing any important activity, you will get positive results. Similarly, living in a house that faces one of your good directions will bring positive energy to you everyday, hence improving your life immensely over time.
So, if you are looking at buying or renting a house, you can use this information to make sure that the house you live in brings good luck and good fortune to you.
If you and your partner/husband/wife belong to different groups, then you can buy/rent a house which has a East-West orientation or Northwest-Southeast orientation.
If you cannot find a house with these orientations, you can live in a house which matches the husband’s good direction, if he is the main bread winner, or the wife’s good directions, if she is the one who earns more.
What if you are living in a house that doesn’t face one of your good directions?

If you live in a house that faces one of your bad directions then make sure to use a door that faces one of your good directions, to enter or leave the house. This will ensure that good energy comes to you every time you go out or enter the house.
I love Feng Shui for many reasons. One of them being its versatility. You can adapt the principles of Feng Shui to fit in with any environment you live in. And, it is so easy to apply.
For those of you who are still not sure if Feng Shui works or not, it is time to give it a test run. Start by choosing one Feng Shui tip which you feel is easy to apply. Once you have applied it, you will definitely see an improvement in your life. It might feel like a coincidence to you but it is Feng Shui at work.
