When placing a bed in the bedroom you should ideally try and face one of your good directions.

But, it is not always possible to place the bed in the right direction because of the way the room has been built.

If you are building your own home or are planning to do renovations, then you can use Feng Shui to plan all the rooms of your home and really improve your life. But for those who are already living in a house, there are lots of ways to fix a problem.

Ideally, the headboard of the bed should be placed near a solid wall and the windows should be on one side of the bed.

Windows should not be behind the bed or in front of the bed.

But if you have no choice and have to place your bed under a window, then make sure you have a thick curtain or blind on the window, which can be closed at night.

If you have a window in front of your bed, then also you need to ensure that the window is covered by a thin curtain during the day, so that the energy coming in through the window slows down and doesn’t hit the bed directly.

When trying to tap into your good direction in the bedroom, you should keep these tips in mind. Sometimes it is just not possible to place the bed in one of your good directions. In such a case, see if you can move to another room and then tap into your good direction. If that is not possible, then try and choose the direction, which is the least harmful for you, which is also known as the unlucky direction. Remember, you have four good directions to work with and there are four directions which will not be good for you.

In case of couples belonging to different groups, East or West, you should follow the good directions of the husband. Feng Shui follows the traditional view, where the patriarch is the head of the family and thus, his directions take precedence. If you feel that you earn more than you husband, then you can tap into your directions and benefit from it even more.

Are you sleeping towards one of your good directions? Are you sleeping with your feet or head pointed towards a door? Is your bed placed under a window?

I would like to know how you have placed your bed. Is it in one of your good directions? If it is not then can you make any changes to your sleeping directions, based on these tips? If you can then let me know what you did. I look forward to hearing from you.

If you have any questions regarding the placement of the bed, then write to me and I will be happy to help.

Have a lovely day.

Cheers.
