In Feng Shui we use different elements in our space to bring about a balance of energies.

The different elements include: Wood, Water, Fire, Earth and Metal.

It is very easy to use these elements, as most of the time you have something made of one of the five elements lying around your house.

Let’s talk about Wood element and it’s placement according to Feng Shui.

Wood element can be placed in the East, Southeast and South corner of your house.

Wood represents growth and increase/improvement.

Some examples of Wood element are: plants, flowers, wooden furniture, wooden decorative items etc.

By placing ‘Wood’ in the said directions, we activate those corners and hence, activate their respective aspirations as well.

  • East stands for Health
  • Southeast stands for Wealth, and
  • South stands for Fame and reputation

Environmental or Space Feng Shui is really easy to apply.

But, you do have to keep the yearly taboos in mind while applying the enhancers.

For example, this year we suggest not to have too many plants in the Southeast direction.
