Let’s get back to our weekly Feng Shui tip 🙂
Today we will have a look at stairs from a Feng Shui perspective.
When building a house, you need to remember that the placement of a staircase can really improve the luck of a building.
Staircases are the carriers of energy from one level of the house to another.
And, when placed correctly, stairs can bring more wealth and career advancement for the people living in that space.
So, here are a few Feng Shui tips for creating staircases which bring more luck to you
- Staircases should be solid and wide
- Avoid gaps or holes in between the steps
- Make sure that the staircase has solid bannisters
- Try not to have too steep a staircase
- Curved staircase is better than a straight one
- Avoid having a spiral staircase in the center of the house, you can have spiral staircases outside the house
- Avoid placing the staircase right in front of the front/main door
- It is better to have the staircase on the left hand side of the house (your left when you are standing inside the main door and looking out)
- Staircases should ideally be broader at the bottom than the top
Keeping these tips in mind when building, buying or renting a house can really improve your luck.
As we all know, it is not easy to just move the stairs or any other part of the house for that matter, so we look at Feng Shui to fix the problem areas.
Don’t panic if you live in a house which doesn’t have a perfect layout.
And remember, no house/building can have perfect Feng Shui!
